The Abuja Magistrate Court has dismissed the criminal case involving social media influencer Chizorom Harrison Ofoegbu, known as Ijele Speaks. The charges included criminal intimidation, threat to life, cyber stalking, and cyberbullying.

Chief Magistrate Emmanuel Iyanna ruled on Thursday that the court lacked jurisdiction to handle the case, which involved allegations against Evangelist Ebuka Obi, the founder of Zion Prayer Movement. Iyanna transferred the case to the Federal High Court for trial.

The court also transferred the bail application filed by Ijele Speaks’ counsel, Marvin Omorogbe, to the Federal High Court.

After hearing both arguments, Magistrate Iyanna emphasized the court’s commitment to fairness and justice, stating, “This is a court of law and must be seen to do justice. I will never be intimidated.”
