Incumbent Governor Lucky Aiyetidawa has secured the All Progressives Congress (APC) nomination for the 2024 Ondo gubernatorial election.

Aiyetidawa emerged victorious in the APC primary held across 203 wards in the state on Saturday. The election was conducted ahead of the November 2024 Ondo gubernatorial election.

According to the results announced by the Chairman of the APC primary election committee and Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo, Aiyetidawa swept all 18 local government areas with a substantial margin.

Aiyetidawa defeated notable challengers, including Olusola Oke, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, Wale Akintirewa, and 12 other APC governorship aspirants. CONTINUE READING
