In a heart-wrenching video, Alhaji Buhari Shamaki, a servant of the Emir of Zamfara, has implored the monarch to intervene for the release of abducted residents.

Last week, bandits raided the palace of the Emir of Zurmi, Alhaji Bello Muhammad Bunu, killing three and kidnapping several townspeople. The attackers also targeted the residence of former Nasarawa Military Administrator Colonel Bala Muhammad Mande (retd).

In the video, the abducted men are blindfolded and surrounded by armed bandits. Shamaki pleads with the Emir, invoking Allah’s mercy, to assist in their liberation. He emphasizes that they number over 600 and are desperate for help.

“We are calling on the Emir of Zamfara to have sympathy for us, in the name of Allah,” Shamaki implores. “We are just looking for food to feed our families. Even if one has nothing, having something to eat and feed his family is enough.”

“I am your Shamaki, Alhaji Buhari. Please, Your Highness, help us, your people who are in dire need of your assistance. We are over 600 in the bush.” CONTINUE READING
