Recent social media discourse has ignited criticism regarding the demolition of homes in specific areas of Lagos State. This controversy culminated in a heated exchange on Arise TV between the Minister of Environment and Water Resources, Mr Tokunbo Wahab, and Gbadebo.

Amid that, Sanwo-Olu’s aide, while responding to a comment by a user who narrated the ordeal of someone who wanted to buy land close to the Dangote refinery. After going to Alausa, they found out the land was under government acquisition and didn’t go on with the deal after verifying the land.

Replying to the user, Sanwo-Olu’s aide, Jubril A Gawat, went on to reveal that the person was correct and also revealed that anybody buying land in Ibeju Lekki right now is going to face future problems, as most of the land there is still agricultural land and all the nonsense of buying a property near Dangote refinery are all lies.
