LANDO NORRIS toasted his Miami win with a whirlwind 24-hour bender which included two rounds of golf at Augusta.
It was the McLaren driver’s first-ever Formula 1 victory after 110 attempts as he beat reigning world champ Max Verstappen in the process.
Norris partied hard with pal Verstappen in Miami on Sunday night before jetting off to the home of the Masters.
He then flew back to the UK for another round of golf with McLaren chief Zak Brown.
Ahead of the Imola Grand Prix practice today, Norris, 24, said: “I went to see the team and everyone was having a drink and a good time which was allowed and accepted.
“I then went to have even more fun with some friends.
“And I went from there to Augusta and played Augusta twice.
“I woke on Tuesday morning and the first time I slept was on Monday night, so it was a long couple of days but it was all worth it.”
Norris, who lives in Monaco, joked that his Miami win meant that fans recognised him and helped push his classic Lamborghini car when it broke down.
He added: “I had a problem with my Miura.
