Real Madrid have reopened talks with Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies, continuing their pursuit of the 23-year-old Canadian.

The Champions League winners had stalled all talks for the left-back before now, but are no ready to go all in.

Davies, whose contract with Bayern expires next summer, could be on the move if he does not accept Bayern’s recent renewal offer.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid made fresh contacts with Davies this week.

“Understand Real Madrid are still working on Alphonso Davies deal, as new contacts took place this week.

“Bayern new contract proposal, still valid — so it’s up to Alphonso now; accept it or leave.

“Real won’t pay rumoured €50m fee, only on favourable conditions,” the sports journalist wrote on X.

Despite Bayern’s reported €50 million valuation, Los Blancos aim to negotiate a lower fee, leveraging Davies’ potential departure to secure a favorable deal.
