MANCHESTER CITY legend Sergio Aguero was seen SQUARING UP to an opponent during a heated exchange at the The Soccer Tournament (TST).
The 7v7 tournament pits 48 teams against one another for a chance to win a cash prize of £782,000 ($1million) in North Carolina, USA.
Following it’s inaugural season last year, this time around the tournament features even more big names, including Premier League icon Aguero.
The Argentine, 36, was starring for the suitably named “Aguero Team”.
However, during a group stage match against Say Word FC, Aguero faced off with an opponent after he felt he was on the receiving end of an overzealous tackle from Brandon Rothfuss.
Rothfuss, who plays for indoor team Memphis Americans, put in a challenge to win the ball before it dropped to Aguero on the edge of the penalty area.
The challenge left Aguero, who was pictured playing in Man City’s 2024/25 kit, tumbling to the floor as Rothfuss appeared to leave a leg in.
After getting up, Aguero could be seen saying something to Rothfuss before pushing him and kicking out at his leg.
Rothfuss responded by pushing Aguero with both arms, before the pair butted heads as Say Word goalkeeper Ramius Stiehler attempted to intervene.
The referee then stopped the play to resolve the issue, but was not in position before Aguero Team’s Lucas Fernandez joined the melee by shoving Rothfuss.

Aguero then rolled down his sock and indicated to a mark to the ref on his shin that had been left by Rothfuss’ earlier challenge.
But Rothfuss went on to have the last laugh as Say Word beat Aguero Team 6-3 in their opening game.
Aguero was forced to retire from pro football in 2021 due to a heart condition.
But he has not been away from the spotlight as he regularly streams on his Twitch channel for fans, which included a live stream of the FA Cup final against Manchester United.
The City great’s side would also go on to lose their second game of the day against La Mexicana Express.
Nani FC currently sit top of the same group with two wins from two, and will play Aguero Team in the group finale later today.
Other teams with representatives at the tournament include Bayern Munich, Wrexham, Inter Milan, Burnley, Villarreal, Swansea, Como-Cagliari and Hashtag United.
Burnley’s cohort even saw co-owner JJ Watt enter the field of play, while Marco Materazzi and Guiseppe Rossi featured too.
There is also a women’s bracket for the tournament with an equal cash prize.
The finals will both commence on Monday, June 10.
