This beach scented fragrance is easy to apply because you mix the recipe up in a glass roller bottle. You just rub a bit on your wrists, behind your ears, and on the nape of your neck.

I suggest Young Living essential oils because I believe they are the most pure essential oils. You can purchase them through my distributor link.

Besides just smelling great, the essential oils in this blend can work to have an uplifting effect on your mood through aromatherapy. Healthline points out that bergamot and ylang ylang have both been shown to have calming, relaxing, and uplifting effects. Citronella essential oil is used in aromatherapy to relieve stress and lime essential oil is used for its energizing, cheerful effects. If you don’t have lime essential oil, substitute lavender for a coastal lavender undertone. If you don’t have citronella, substitute Cedarwood essential oil for a grounding, woodsy undertone.

Liquid coconut oil is a nice light oil that is great for moisturizing and nourishing skin so you can feel great about the all natural ingredients.

How To Make Ocean Scent With Essential Oils

Gather up your supplies and head to the kitchen counter.

Remove the roller ball top and add 4-5 of your washed and dried small seashells to the roller bottle. I gathered some up while we were at the beach just for this roller! It really makes the roller bottle look pretty. After you add the shells, it’s time for your essential oils.

The Young Living brand of essential oils is my favorite but if you pick a different brand, be sure to chose pure essential oils. I used a combination of the best smelling essential oils to create this ocean beach breeze scent. Add 3 drops of Lime, 4 drops of Ylang Ylang, 2 drops of Bergamot and 1 drop of Citronella essential oil to the roller bottle. The bergamot is a citrusy, uplifting note. The Ylang Ylang is a soft floral note reminiscent of sea breezes.

Once all of your essential oils have been added, top off the roller bottle with your liquid coconut oil. This is the perfect carrier oil because it is so light and soothing to the skin. Pop on the roller ball top and your beach breeze perfume is ready to use. Roll on wrists, forearms and even neck for a lovely ocean beach breeze scent! Lime essential oil can cause photosensitivity so it is best not to go out into direct sunlight immediately after application.

This blend aims to capture the essence of the ocean with its fresh, calming, and uplifting notes. Adjust the ratios to suit your personal preference. The smell of the ocean is natural aromatherapy for me. I find it so relaxing. Will you make this ocean breeze fragrance oil?

This ocean scent essential oil recipe is for external use only. Keep out of reach of children. If you have never used essential oils before, perform a patch test to make sure you have no allergies.
