Reports indicate that the octogenarian fell into a coma and was subsequently rushed to an undisclosed hospital in Lagos State due to age-related ailments.

Members of the Saraki family, who preferred to remain anonymous, confirmed the news to Daily Trust on the issue. One source revealed, “The incident happened this evening when Mama went into a coma and was rushed to the hospital in Lagos State. She was later placed in the intensive care unit (ICU) before she died. Saraki was informed about it in Ilorin and he left about two hours ago with his wife following the incident.”
