Accommodation and home rental specialist Snaptrip Group has acquired hotel website the Hotel Guru for a seven-figure sum.
The group, which already counts United Kingdom-based brands including LateRooms and Snaptrip, said the acquisition strengthens “its position in the hotel sector and significantly expands its reach across the globe.”
According to a statement, the Hotel Guru has an international presence including the United States and will help Snaptrip expand into new markets.
Matt Fox, CEO of Snaptrip Group, said, “This acquisition represents a significant step forward in our mission to become the go-to platform for all things accommodation in the U.K. and beyond. The Hotel Guru’s established reputation as a trusted source for curated hotel reviews, with its team of expert reviewers, perfectly complements our existing offerings.”
