Father John Misty has announced a greatest-hits compilation. The new album, Greatish Hits: I Followed My Dreams and My Dreams Said to Crawl, features tracks from Fear Fun (2012), I Love You, Honeybear (2015), Pure Comedy (2017), God’s Favorite Customer (2018), and Chloë and the Next 20th Century (2022), as well as the 2016 single “Real Love Baby.” The compilation closes with its lone new track, “I Guess Time Just Makes Fools of Us All.” Find the song and collection below. Sub Pop will issue the compilation physically on August 16.
Joshua Tillman made his debut as Father John Misty in 2012. His first album under the moniker, Fear Fun, followed years of releases as J. Tillman. None of the singer-songwriter’s J. Tillman work appears on Greatish Hits.
According to a press release, Father John Misty will release a new album later in 2024, and it will include “I Guess Time Makes Fools of Us All.”
