President Bola Tinubu has condemned the killing of the District Head of Gatawa District in the Sabon Birni Local Government Area of Sokoto State, Alhaji Isa Bawa, by bandits who kidnapped him earlier.

It would be recalled that Naijaonpoint had reported that Bawa, who has been in the captivity of bandits since he was abducted about a month ago, has died in the camp of his abductors.

President Tinubu, in his reaction, expressed sorrow over the incidents that led to the death of the traditional ruler.

He said the heinous act would be met with a decisive response and extended condolences to the bereaved family, the Gobir Emirate, and the government of Sokoto State.
