The remote and hybrid work life wasn’t just a temporary fix during the pandemic. It has become a permanent change in modern work culture. Job seekers are demanding it, companies are offering it, and brands like Dieffebi are designing for it. Since the 1970s, this Italy-based office design manufacturer has been continuously innovating the concept of the modern office environment. Their latest collection confirms that it’s not hybrid work that needs to be changed; it’s our offices, both at home and in traditional settings, that should evolve to meet these new demands.

Under the guidance of art director Elisa Ossino, known for her elegant styles and refined color palettes, Dieffebi is redefining what it means to work in both home and office environments. Emphasizing flexibility, modularity, and ergonomics, their new collection blurs the line between home and commercial office furniture. This allows for high-quality, functional pieces to seamlessly fit into modern homes while also enhancing traditional office spaces. Dieffebi’s designs focus on visual and acoustic comfort, ensuring that whether you’re at home or in the office, your workspace is both efficient and welcoming.

The Franny desk moves away from bulky forms associated with filing cabinets and cubicles to offer a minimalist alternative. It features an upholstered, sound-absorbing fabric panel that extends to the floor, available in rectangular, circular, or square shapes. The slim painted tubular metal frame can be fitted with one or two drawers on either side of the tabletop. With five frame colors, nine top colors, and 18 varieties of fabrics for the panel, it’s easy to create the work desk of your dreams.

Say hello to your new Mate in the office, an elevated storage cabinet in terms of both aesthetics and height. Supported by a thin metal tubular frame, the cabinet creates an air of lightness, emphasized by the clear glass doors accented with a screen-printed checkered pattern.

The Zoey line, consisting of a bench, table, and stool, shares a design language of rounded shapes, legs, and edges. The table features a contrast between its four painted metal legs and its thin, rounded wooden top. The stool, a companion to the table or a hero on its own, seems almost anthropomorphic with its stout little legs. Lastly, the bench brings comfort to seaters with its plush padding, soft edges, and attached backrest.

Line is a perfectly fitting name for this streamlined bookcase, whose power lies in its ability to configure in endless ways to fit your work needs. The metal frames support different desks, containers, shelves, and storage units, all of which help organize and divide space. To top it off, the thermoformed fabric panels add additional sound absorption to create a more comfortable auditory experience.
