The All Progressives Congress (APC) has condemned the recent suspension of its national Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, by a faction of the party.

According to the chairman and secretary of Ganduje ward in Kano state, Ahmed Muhammed Ganduje and Usaini Jibrinn, no official election has been held to replace the current party leadership. They allege that the suspension was carried out by a “sponsored group” using forged documents.

“We remain the same executive of the ward,” the statement emphasized. “There was no new election of new leadership of our party.”

The executive members have urged the national body of the APC to prosecute those responsible for the suspension, accusing them of impersonation. They have also called on party members to dismiss the propaganda aimed at destabilizing the party. CONTINUE READING
