But now he has been let go after his contract expired, with Bromley opting not to offer him a new deal.

The midfielder made 10 appearances for Andy Woodman’s side, scoring one goal.

But he featured just once this season, coming off the bench for a 13-minute cameo in January.

Bergkamp Jr played no part in Bromley’s play-off final triumph over Solihull Moors at Wembley as a penalty shoot-out victory earned them promotion to the Football League for the first time in their history.

His father, Dennis, is one of Arsenal’s most iconic players having spent 11 years with the Gunners from 1995 to 2006.

He played 422 games for the club, scoring 120 goals and assisting a further 106.

Bergkamp Sr won three Premier League titles and four FA Cups under Arsene Wenger.

He also earned 79 caps for the Netherlands, hitting the back of the net 37 times.
