The Kaduna State House of Assembly, which is probing loans incurred by ex-Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s administration, has accused his son, Bello El-Rufai, of threatening its members.

In a statement, the assembly condemned deleted tweets by Bello El-Rufai, calling them “irresponsible and disruptive.” The tweets allegedly suggested a call to “fight” and disrespected the legislative branch.

Furthermore, the assembly claims that Bello El-Rufai sent insulting and threatening messages via WhatsApp to the Speaker, Yusuf Liman.

Despite the threats, the assembly remains resolute in its investigation, emphasizing its commitment to upholding the rule of law and accountability. It urges the public to support its pursuit of transparency and urges the people of Kaduna State to stand behind its efforts.
