In related news, Dr. Kwankwaso has traveled to the United Kingdom to meet with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is currently on a two-week leave. According to Alhaji Ilyasu Kwankwaso, Dr. Kwankwaso plans to defect to the APC, bringing one of the Emirs of Kano state along with him on the trip.
The APC chieftain noted that while Dr. Kwankwaso and his members are free to join the APC, they must do so through the proper channels and with respect for the party’s authorities. “Our door is widely open to whoever wishes to come to the house of the largest party in Africa – APC, but they must be ready to do the needful and come with clean hands,” Ilyasu Kwankwaso stated.
He stressed that “As a result of his move to the NNPP, automatically made the Kano state chapter of PDP, to be like a flock of sheep without leaders and this made the PDP and it’s party presidential flagbearer Alhaji Atiku to performed wofuly in the 2023 election.”
The APC stalwart explained that “Why am saying this , does not indicated or meant that I do not wish the LP and it’s presidential candidate not to form an alliance with NNPP, but to be wary before taken final decision on alleged merger plan”
