Amidst the political turmoil in Rivers State, the National Chairman of the National Rescue Movement (NRM), Ambassador Isaac Chigozie Udeh, has declared his unwavering support for the incumbent governor, Siminalayi Fubara.

In an interview with newsmen in Abuja, Ambassador Udeh emphasized that Governor Fubara represents not only the PDP but also the collective will of the people who voted for him. He commended the governor’s commitment to working for the betterment of the state and urged everyone to refrain from distracting him.

Ambassador Udeh reiterated that Governor Fubara is the legitimate political leader of Rivers State and cannot be undermined by his predecessor or any other individual. He highlighted the governor’s impressive performance and dedication to serving the people, regardless of their political affiliation.

“Fubara has proven to Nigerians that he is ready to work by the great work he is doing. It is practically open and deserves of all not governor of People’s Democratic Party, PDP,” Ambassador Udeh stated.

“I want us to understand that when a candidate emerges from a political party for governor space, presidential contest or any other position, it is not only his party that delivers him at the polls. It is based on the manifesto he presents to the public and his place in the public that will make him to win the votes of everybody not only the votes of his political party in the state or country, that makes Fubara the governor of Rivers State not PDP,” he emphasized.

Ambassador Udeh instructed NRM members in Rivers State to extend their full support to the governor, enabling him to succeed in his endeavours. He emphasized that the NRM stands firmly behind Governor Fubara and urged other political parties to do the same for the development of the state and the country.

“I want to use this opportunity to assure the governor that my party is solidly behind him across the twenty-three Local Government Areas (LGAs) in the state,” Ambassador Udeh concluded. CONTINUE READING
