Take a quick tour with me through this exquisite Connecticut home owned by Jane Keltner de Valle and her husband Giancarlo Valle. Jane is a co-founder of the children’s skincare line Paloroma and was also formerly Architectural Digest’s style director. Giancarlo is on the AD100 list for interior designers.
Here are some sneak peeks of their home. The pictures are all provided by Architectural Digest and photographed by Stephen Johnson.
Connecticut House Tour
Living Room
This living room is full of unique designs and styles. From the red sofa to the crumpled paper texture lamp, to the pattern of the carpet. This room is full of big and bold personalities. It does really catch my eye.
This little office nook area tucked away behind the main living room area is quite neat. The aqua green chair adds personality to the living room space surrounded by wood floors, walls, and ceilings. It is a nice pop of color against the neutral browns.
Kitchen
This kitchen space is very cottage-core. I love how this space lets in so much natural light. The potted plants all around the place make you feel one step closer to nature while being indoors.
Here is a look at the dining room area. The lighting here is dimmer, but it does allow for lots of natural light to shine through. Everything about the design of this space is very modern but also cottage-core. The woven chairs are a good balance between the two.
Bedroom
This bedroom is full of interesting design choices. From the brick red wallpaper to the floral bed frame. The shades of reddish brown in this room do really well to tie the whole place together.
Here is another bedroom in this beautiful Connecticut house. This room is decorated with greens that much resemble nature. It is a beautiful way to reflect the nature outside.
Bathroom
Here is one of the bathrooms in this home. The bathtub in its little nook is a cute design choice. The white tub against a light pink wall right by a window is very relaxing and dreamy. Placing seating right by the tub is a nice styling choice to make the bathroom seem cozier.
This is a peak at another bathroom in this Connecticut home. The green and white tiles are a nice touch. It reflects the color of the walls and ceilings well. The chair in the corner is an interesting design choice and makes the bathroom seem more chic in a way.
