If there’s one thing Dolly Parton knows how to do, it’s to keep herself busy. For her latest venture, the icon is back with a brand new children’s book, Dolly Parton’s Billy the Kid Comes Home for Christmas.

A standalone sequel to Parton’s previous New York Times bestseller, Dolly Parton’s Billy the Kid Makes It Big, the new picture book follows the bulldog Billy the Kid as he struggles with choosing between performing a massive Christmas concert and spending the holidays back home with his family.

Dolly Parton’s Billy the Kid Comes Home for Christmas is available for purchase on Amazon now. Options include a hardcover copy, a Kindle edition, and an audiobook version.

Parton has long supported children’s reading through her Imagination Library program. Founded in 1995, the Dollywood Foundation-backed project is dedicated to gifting books to children up to the age of five.

She also also has a host of other ongoing and recent projects. Just within the last few months, the former Consequence cover star has announced a Broadway musical, guested on Beyoncé’s COWBOY CARTER and Post Malone’s F-1 Trillion, launched a new wine collection, and spearheaded a massive and much-needed relief fund for hurricane Helene.
