How To Make Pumpkin Dip Recipe With Cream Cheese

Set cream cheese out until it has reached room temperature. This will make it easier to beat cream cheese and provide for smoother results.

Combine all ingredients in a medium sized bowl and mix until smooth. If you prefer it more whipped you can run it through the blender or food processor for 45-60 seconds, or until  completely smooth. A handheld mixer or a stand mixer will also help it reach a smoother consistency in less time than hand mixing.

Place the pumpkin maple dip into an airtight container. For best results, place that in the refrigerator to let the flavors come together fully for at least two hours or overnight before serving.

Just before serving- top with a drizzle of maple syrup, a dash of cinnamon, and a some crushed walnuts or pecans if desired for a pretty presentation. Alternatively, you can top this delicious pumpkin dip recipe with a dallop of cool whip.

Easy Pumpkin Cream Cheese Dip Variations:

Don’t love maple syrup or you love it so much you’ve run out? In place of maple syrup add another two tablespoons of powdered sugar for sweetness and use one of the following ingredients to create a new flavor combination:

1 teaspoon of-

  • Walnut extract
  • Vanilla extract
  • Coffee extract

Instead of one of the above extracts, you could also use 1 Tablespoon cocoa powder.

Maple syrup and powered confectioner’s sugar both dissolve and mix into the cream cheese mixture very easily. However, if you prefer the flavor of brown sugar, you can use that instead. It will just require move whipping with your hand mixer to get a nice smooth fully blended dip.
