The Korean skincare market never stops surprising us with new, innovative technologies and ingredients. From snail mucin essence, licorice root, and hydrolyzed collagen, to pure shea butter, niacinamide, and swiftlet nest extract: all of these skin-hydrating, anti-wrinkle ingredients have proven benefits for dry and dull skin. But the search for the best formula that provides lasting hydration and that iconic glass skin glow never stops!

Today, we’re putting another popular Elizavecca moisturizer to the test: the Peptide 3D Fix Elastic Bubble Cream! This cream is packed with ingredients known to promote radiant skin, and its unique foamy formula promises instant absorption. I became a fan after just one use, so let’s see if it lives up to the hype!

About Elizavecca Peptide 3D Fix Elastic Bubble Cream

If you are familiar with Elizavecca’s moisturizers Peptide 3D Fix Elastic Bubble Cream* might remind you of another iconic product – Hyaluronic Acid Memory Cream. I ever added them both to my list of the best dry skin moisturizers by Elizavecca. They are similar in texture and color, but only at first glance.

Elastic Bubble Cream starts out smooth and gel-like, but upon contact with your skin, transforms into a delightful, frothy mousse. Unlike Memory Cream which is based on Sodium Hyaluronate, Elastic Bubble Cream is water-based and hydrates the skin differently. It works to improve elasticity, revitalizing thirsty skin.

Nothing extraordinary here, just your good old plastic container with a tiny white spatula for scooping and hygienic application. Everything is pretty standard for a good Elizavecca product. But, when it comes to the cardboard part – Elizavecca surprised me with a color-scheme choice. The Peptide 3D Fix Elastic Bubble Cream wears holographic packaging with a contrasting black design!

Once again, the color and texture are strongly reminiscent of Hyaluronic Acid Memory cream. Both are light-blue, jelly-like creams with an airy texture. However, the Elizavecca Peptide Bubble Cream feels even lighter! The scent is also similar: soft and mild, with a hint of sweetness. It even evokes the ocean or seawater a bit, which I love.

A few minutes after applying the cream to your skin, it oxidizes, expands, and turns into an airy foam! Isn’t that cool? I love the feeling of those popping bubbles on my skin! Elizavecca has a few videos on their YouTube Channel with demonstrations of this bubble face cream. You can even hear them pop if you turn on your sound! It is truly a delightful view.

But, the foam isn’t just cute and pleasing by itself. This texture has an actual benefit for the skin. By expanding in size, those airy bubbles can penetrate the skin better, delivering all of those nourishing and hydrating ingredients right into the skin.

Exploring ingredients, especially in Korean skincare, is one of my favorite things to do! It’s always so interesting and unexpected to discover the unique blend of natural ingredients and innovative technology used in their formulas. The Peptide 3D Fix Elastic Bubble Cream is one of those skincare products worth diving deep into!

What is Centella Asiatica Extract?

One of the first, and foremost ingredients in cream’s formula is Centella Asiatica Extract. It is a natural extract derived from a leafy plant in the parsley family. Used in traditional medicine for centuries, particularly in Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine, it boasts a wealth of beneficial compounds for the skin. For instance, the extract is rich in triterpenoid saponins, which are thought to be the key players behind its impressive properties.

In the world of skincare, Centella Asiatica Extract has become a star ingredient. Praised for its multi-tasking abilities, it’s lauded for its anti-inflammatory and wound-healing properties. This makes it a hero for soothing irritation, calming redness, and promoting skin repair. It’s also considered a powerful moisturizer, helping to improve skin hydration and barrier function, leading to a plumper, healthier-looking complexion.

  • Camellia Japonica Seed Oil

The next ingredient that caught my attention in the ingredient list is Camellia Japonica Seed Oil aka Tsubaki Oil. Rich in omega-9 fatty acids and antioxidants, Camellia Japonica Seed Oil is a secret weapon in many Korean skincare routines, promoting a healthy glow and protecting against environmental damage.

Peptide 3D Fix Elastic Bubble is also rich in classic hydrating and anti-wrinkle ingredients like Niacinamide, Glycerin, and Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4 (an active ingredient with 5 amino acids for younger-looking skin). Elizavecca enriches this wonder cream with a variety of naturally derived extracts from roots and plants, including Ginseng Root Extract (known for its energizing properties), Poria Cocos Extract (known to soothe irritation), Prunus Mume Flower Extract (known for its brightening effects), and Licorice Root Extract (known for its calming properties). All these ingredients work together to keep the skin hydrated and supple.

How to Use Peptide 3D Fix Elastic Bubble?

To awaken its bubbly power, start by applying a pea-sized amount of Elastic Bubble Cream to a slightly damp face. Of course, you can apply it to dry skin, but the hydrating effect is always stronger when applied to damp skin.

Once applies, gently massage the cream in circular motions, watching it transform into a soft, aerated foam. The more cream you apply, the more bubbles you’ll get! This transformation signals the activation of the key ingredients, allowing them to deeply penetrate your pores. After the delightful bubble show subsides (usually within a minute or two), dampen your fingertips and continue massaging the foam into your skin.

Final Verdict…

Let me summarize today’s review by sharing my personal experience with the Elizavecca Peptide Bubble Cream. This is certainly not the first “bubble” product by Elizavecca I’ve tested on my skin. I also had a wonderful opportunity to try out their iconic carbonated face mask, which has a similar action.

To be honest, I wasn’t expecting the Peptide Bubble Cream to be a game-changer. Maybe it is because I already had my favorite Elizavecca moisturizer (it is the Milky Piggy Retinol Elastic Cream): or perhaps I wasn’t expecting a water-based product to be so fantastic. But after just one use, I was impressed! The hydrating action is phenomenal, making it a strong contender for my number one spot, especially for everyday use. While Milky Piggy Elastic Retinol Cream is good for nighttime application, the 3D Fix Elastic Bubble cream can be used in the morning for the iconic glass skin effect.

If you’re looking for intense hydration with a touch of innovation, this cream is for you! Packed with a potent blend of skin-caring ingredients in the best Korean traditions, it delivers noticeable results. I can’t get enough of that luxurious, foamy feeling on my skin!
