Smith Rowe started just three Premier League matches last term and could depart the Emirates for further opportunities.

According to the Telegraph, swooping for Smith Rowe has been made a “priority” by Fulham transfer chiefs.

Marco Silva’s side are keen to bolster their attacking options amid potential departures.

Willian is out of contract and mulling over lucrative bids from Saudi Arabia.

Bobby De Cordova-Reid is also at the end of his deal, although Fulham have tabled him a renewal offer.

Smith Rowe was limited to just 12 Premier League appearances in the 2022-23 season due to a groin injury.

Having lost his place in Arteta’s first-choice attack, the three-cap England international was forced to watch on from the bench for much of this season.

Smith Rowe started three Prem matches, in addition to 10 sub appearances.

Following Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Luton in April, which saw Smith Rowe handed a rare start, Arteta said of his No10: “I love him as a player, he is a joy to watch.

“How he moves, changes direction and how physical he was without the ball.

“He went into duels and won a lot of them and was thinking with that killer instinct to play forward and make things happen.

“When Emile is in that moment, it’s very difficult to stop him.”

Smith Rowe could be part of a huge Gunners clear-out this summer.

The North Londoners will listen to offers for Eddie Nketiah, Aaron Ramsdale, Kieran Tierney, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Nuno Tavares and Reiss Nelson.
