Eminem made a surprise appearance at a concert celebrating the grand reopening of the Michigan Central Station in Detroit on Thursday night.

Accompanied by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, the rapper delivered a four-song set that included the live debut of his new single “Houdini.” He also performed “Sing for the Moment” with country singer Jelly Roll handling the song’s chorus, and teamed up with fellow Detroit rapper Trick Trick to perform their 2005 collaboration, “Welcome 2 Detroit.” Eminem closed his set with “Not Afraid.”

Eminem and his longtime manager, Paul Rosenberg, served as executive producers of the concert, which marked the reopening of Michigan Central Station, a one-time historic train depot that was shuttered in 1988 and remained vacant until it was purchased by the Ford Motor Company in 2018. Following a six-year restoration it reopened on Thursday as mixed use facility.

Along with Eminem, the reopening concert included performances from Detroit natives including Jack White, Diana Ross, Big Sean, Illa J, Kierra Sheard, Theo Parrish, Slum Village, The Clark Sisters, Sky Jetta, and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
