ENGLAND ace Phil Foden landed the catch of the day on a pre-Euros break – while fishing with his kids on a yacht in Marbella
Manchester City star Phil, 24, has been chilling out with brother Logan before linking up with Gareth Southgate’s squad to begin final preparations for the soccer showdown in Germany.
And the midfield kingpin will be hoping to net the big one in Germany after plucking three tiddlers from the sea in the Spanish jet set resort.
Phil – who won the Premiership and Player of the Year award after a brilliant season – delighted his kids Ronnie, five and True, three.
His pregnant girlfriend Rebecca Cooke watched the fun from the back of the family’s rented yacht – which never moved from its mooring as the family relaxed in the sunshine.
Brit Isaac Rayton saw the £200,000-a-week star spot shoals of fish as his family took a seaside stroll – before hiring the luxury speedboat to provide his fishing pitch.
Isaac, 18, from Preston, Lancs said: “Phil walked past and he and his son were staring and pointing at the fish in the water – so he rented a boat.
“I don’t think they went anywhere on it but he was fishing on it and I managed to film the moment he caught one of them but I think he caught three in total.
“There were so many people surrounding the boat.”
“All these people are standing round and the guy is at the front fishing.
That will win us the Euros.”
Foden is being rested by Gareth Southgate but is expected to star at Euro 24, which kicks off in Berlin on Friday June 14.
The midfield maestro – who scored 24 times for City this season – will rejoin the Three Lions squad in time for tomorrow’s Wembley send-off friendly against Iceland.
