ERIK TEN HAG is receiving interest from Bayern Munich and Ajax amid uncertainty surrounding his future at Old Trafford.
The Dutchman, 54, is facing the possibility of the sack at the end of the season after a dismal second campaign in charge of the Red Devils.
They are languishing in eighth place in the table heading into the final day and are facing the prospect of their worst ever Premier League finish.
Ten Hag does still have an FA Cup final against Manchester City on May 25 as he looks to double his trophy haul at the club – after winning the Carabao Cup last summer.
But according to The Mirror, both Bayern and Ajax believe new Man Utd co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe will still axe Ten Hag even if they lift the FA Cup.
As a result, they are lining up moves for his services in the summer.
Bayern are searching for Thomas Tuchel’s successor after it was confirmed he is leaving the club.
And Ten Hag has previously worked for the German giants as he was manager of their reserve side during Pep Guardiola’s time at the helm.
Meanwhile, Ajax want Ten Hag to return after just two years away.
He led them to three Eredivisie titles in four seasons and a Champions League semi-final.

Pundits’ verdict on Ten Hag’s future
Where do the pundits stand on Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United future?
Michael Owen – He has to go
“He cannot, simply cannot, manage this team next season. He’s not good enough.”
Teddy Sheringham – Might stay if he wins Cup but should go
“If United win the FA Cup, he could stay. But, for me, changes are needed and United need to get it done sooner than later.”
Jamie Carragher – Sacked
“I don’t see how Erik ten Hag stays. It’s just performance after performance.”
Gary Neville – Stay if he wins the FA Cup
“To sack a manager who’s won two trophies in his first two seasons at the club I think would be extreme.”
Louis Saha – On the fence
“I don’t see it as clearly but they need changes from the players but they need changes from him as well.”
Alan Shearer – Sacked
“I believe the future of the Man Utd manager is already determined. Even if they win the FA Cup I think he’s gone.”
Ajax have already been rejected by ex-Brighton and Chelsea head coach Graham Potter.
Ten Hag is on their shortlist of managers, along with Nice boss Francesco Farioli.
Man Utd will have to pay Ten Hag around £10million in compensation if they are to sack him.
However, he could yet choose to walk away for a new challenge should Bayern or Ajax present a formal proposal.
