Hurom H70 Easy Clean Slow Juicer Review

The H70 Easy Clean Slow Juicer is fairly compact and takes up a relatively small amount of counter space. That is big in my book because I love clear countertops. It is also a nice looking machine. That may seem simple but it makes a difference in something you look at every day. I like the white but it comes in black too.

User Experience

It is packaged up very nicely and is easy to assemble. The chamber with hopper comes assembled and you just place it on the motor and plug it in. You can open the hopper lid so that you place in large pieces of fruit or handfuls of greens easily. Then close the lid and push the on button. It self feeds and makes amazing smooth rich juice with very little foam. It also pushes out condensed pulp which is great added to your compost. In addition, the motor is amazingly quiet. You can still hold a conversation with someone while it is juicing.

There is a recipe book to get you started with juicing. It offers several beginner recipes and shares the health benefits of various juices. From there you can step out on your own and try even more fun fresh fruit and vegetables combinations. It is exciting and fun to try juices and focus on various health benefits such as improving circulation or boosting the immune system. The cold press juices that it makes are high yield and low pulp. They are smooth and don’t quickly separate into layers. I also enjoy making nut milks and sorbets. Easy peasy, no extra attachments needed.

After use, you can remove the chamber from the base with one hand by simply lifting. Then you carry it over to your sink and twist to remove the top hopper from the bottom chamber. Inside is the auger which also pulls apart into two pieces. Now, you can just run hot water over all 4 pieces washing them clean. Super simple clean up. Traditional juicers have a screen which collects minerals and pulp and tend to require a lot of scrubbing as they quickly clog up and become less efficient. I love not having to worry about cleaning the screen with the Hurom juicer.

• Slower Process: As with all slow juicers, the juicing process takes longer compared to centrifugal juicers. However, not that much longer and this is balanced by the higher quality of juice produced.
• Pricier: Of course, it is more expensive than a centrifugal juicer but you always pay extra for better features.

Pros:

• Easy Cleaning: The easy-clean feature is a huge benefit. With my old juicer, I would clean the screen and then when I got it out to use again, I could still see bits of dried pulp sticking to it. Nothing makes you less excited to juice than a gross screen. This easy cleanup juicer saves me time and frustration. This means that it makes juicing more fun for me and it is easier to stay committed to making healthy juices for myself and my family.

Quick note on the Hurom H70 vs Hurom H400

When I was choosing the correct model for me, I happened to see that the H400 is a very popular model. It is only a little more expensive so I wondered if that would be best and double checked the stats of both to make sure the Juicer Quiz pointed me in the right direction. It did! While the H400 is a more feature-rich juicer with higher capacity, it does require a bit more effort in cleaning. The H70 is perfect for me because I value easy cleaning and a compact design.
