GetYourGuide is debuting new tools to help operators capitalize on travelers’ growing preference for travel experiences.

GetYourGuide debuted more tools on Tuesday to help its over 30,000 travel experience operators improve the number of bookings they generate through the online travel agency.

“With our new features, experience partners can simplify their work, create standout experiences, and delight more travelers,” said Tao Tao, GetYourGuide co-founder and chief operating officer.

Why it matters: Many travelers increasingly value authentic experiences over traditional tourist traps. Example: U.S. spending on experiences has increased 32% since 2019, outpacing the growth in overall consumer goods spending.

  • Video capabilities: Select partners can now add videos to destination and product pages. Experiences are a product where visuals can make or break a booking decision.
  • Marketing referrals: GetYourGuide has assembled a database of about 10,000 creators, influencers, or experts with social media savvy who produce local video content using a “show, don’t tell” approach. This may help operators learn about who is talented at creating vertical-video content.
  • Generative AI tools: New offerings strive to help partners generate listings faster, reducing creation time by up to 40%. One tool claims to produce professional English content for online listings tailored to an operator’s distinctive brand voice.
  • Business intelligence: GetYourGuide has improved its analytics dashboard to provide tools for better inventory management. For example, one feature claims to pinpoint high-demand time slots to maximize bookings. Another tool forecasts when a tour will likely sell out.
  • Real-time data sync. Enhanced connectivity improves accuracy with live availability, pricing, and API integrations so that shoppers see the most up-to-date pricing and other details.

What’s Next: GetYourGuide is expanding language support, adding over a dozen languages for customers and five for experience operators. The goal is to facilitate GetYourGuide’s appeal and relevance in new markets.
