AC Milan star Olivier Giroud has penned a contract with Major League Soccer (MLS) side Los Angeles FC until December 2025.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the French international will make the switch to LAFC as a free agent, as his contract with Milan expires this summer.
He is also expected to join the MLS team by June, when his contract is set to commence.
The agreement follows Giroud’s prior confirmation of personal terms with the American club back in March, reports Romano on his X account.
“Olivier Giroud signs contracts as new LAFC player, ready for MLS new chapter after verbal agreement reached in March!
“Contract until December 2025 set to be sealed in the next hours. Giroud will leave AC Milan as free agent.
“Here we go, confirmed,” he stated.
