Heart lead singer Ann Wilson has shared a positive health update revealing she is “absolutely fine” after undergoing successful chemotherapy for cancer and “officially ready” for the band’s rescheduled 2025 tour.
“I know lots of you have been wondering how I’ve been doing, so I thought it’d be best if you heard this straight from me,” Wilson said in a recorded statement posted on social media. “I’m doing absolutely fine now, but it’s been, to put it mildly, a lot. Chemo is no joke. It takes a lot out of a person. And then there’s that two weeks of waiting around for test results, a form of mental torture. For anyone who’s been through that, I empathize big-time.”

She continued, “Luckily for me, when the results finally came, they were the good kind! And so I’m excited to share with you that I’m now finished with chemo and I’m officially ready to get ready for the tour in 2025!”
Wilson added that there would be maintenance treatments in the future, but with “much less severe” side effects: “The worst is over and I’m thankful for the efficacy of this poison — but it’s more than welcome to get the fuck out of my body now.” She concluded the statement by attributing her “happy ending” to early detection and advised fans to “get checked regularly.”
In July, Heart postponed their 2024 tour dates after Wilson’s doctors found something cancerous during a routine medical procedure and she elected to undergo preventative chemotherapy.
Heart recently announced their 2025 North American “Royal Flush Tour” will kick off February 28th in Las Vegas and run through April, with stops in Los Angeles, Toronto, Boston, New York City, and more. See the full schedule here, and purchase tickets here.
