A mother, Toyin Akanbi, has spoken out about her daughter’s alleged ordeal during a deliverance session at a Cherubim and Seraphim Church in Ogun State. According to Toyin Akanbi, her 25-year-old daughter confided in her about being forcefully molested by the pastor, Monday Ogunyomi, who conducted the deliverance.

The daughter had been experiencing constant nightmares, prompting her family to seek help. Toyin Akanbi disclosed that the pastor demanded N80,000 for the deliverance, of which she paid N50,000 upfront to expedite the process.

Recalling her daughter’s account to the police, Toyin Akanbi said, “My daughter has been having constant, dreadful nightmares. The pastor is a prophet at the church in Eleweran. He asked me to pay N80,000. But she deposited N50,000 so that the pastor could start the deliverance on time. When I called my daughter hours later to find out about her experience, I was shocked to hear that the pastor forcefully molested her in the wee hours of the night she arrived at the church.”

The police spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, confirmed the incident, stating that the victim received medical attention while the pastor has been arrested. The investigation is ongoing. CONTINUE READING
