The Ghanaian socialite and influencer admitted that while incarcerated, he sold drugs and other illegal products, which helped him accumulate cash.

Showboy stated that the inflated pricing of commodities within the prison, which were around 1,000 times greater than their ordinary market value, provided a lucrative opportunity for individuals who successfully smuggled and sold stuff.

This allowed individuals like him to make significant profits. He expressed regret that his time behind bars was cut short, as he believed he could have made even more money if he had remained in prison longer.

Showboy was deported to Ghana in 2023 after serving a four-year sentence for stabbing his friend, Junior US. In March 2019, he received a six-year prison sentence for the stabbing that injured Junior US.
