Popular Nigerian singer, Jaywon has taken to the X platform to slam Odumodublvck after the rapper dragged him in a recent poodcast.

Odumodublvck had lambasted Jaywon for saying that he paved the way for younger artists.

In a recent podcast interview, Odumodu revisited Jaywon’s claim of paving the way for Nigerian artists with just one song. He contrasted this with Olamide, whom he called a true pacesetter, noting that Olamide never boasts about his achievements. Odumodu recalled how Olamide booked a private jet for him for a video shoot, highlighting his support without seeking recognition.

In response, Jaywon expressed his frustration, accusing Odumodu of repeatedly using his name to stay relevant on various podcasts. Jaywon asserted that even a single record of his would outlast Odumodu’s entire career, emphasizing that Odumodu still has a long way to go to reach his level.

His words: “The only reason why you are relevant this whole year. You go to shows and podcasts talking about Jaywon because you are really not all that. Just a fluke, and instead of you calming down to enjoy the fame and attention you are getting, you want to banter with me. I pity you!

“And if you must know, boy @Odumodublvck_, that one record you keep bringing up everywhere you go will still outlive your entire career. For you to even come close, you still have more work to do!

“If Afrobeats hadn’t been watered down, would someone like mumu black be anywhere near the rappers in this industry? I kinda loved your hustling spirit and zeal before because we all hustled out of the same Abuja, but NO bro. You have crossed the line!”
