From a magical face cream that blurs skin, to perfection to mood-boosting, plant-based mocktails, to summer clothes, I’m sharing the products I’ve tried and loved lately that I can’t stop talking about.
These are the eleven things I loved most lately…
1. Summersalt The Sidestroke Swimsuit
$95
I wore Summersalt swimsuits a few years ago almost exclusively and after my sizing changed, I donated them. I recently was gifted another set in their new colorways and am happy to report they’re still the crème de la crème of supportive, flattering swimwear. They make it easy to be active and flexible while running after my kids without worrying about the suit slipping or revealing too much. Amen! The olive green colorway is particularly pretty with light skin and dark hair if I do say so myself.
2. OSSA Tulip Wristlet
$55 Cord/$75 Set
A wristlet is my favorite phone accessory. Having one makes it easier to locate my phone in my purse, and forgo dropping my phone when I’m carrying a bunch of stuff. The OSSA brand has a ton of really cute designs in a variety of sizes. You can purchase one wristlet with a case and then buy another wristlet to swap out. What I love about this way of accessorizing your phone is that you can use the wristlets long after you update your phone to a different model. The cases cost $20 and the wristlets start at $35.
3. Little Saints Paloma
$60 for 12 Cans
I haven’t been drinking much alcohol aside from a cold beer on a hot summer day, so at home when I want to have the ritual of making a cocktail or pouring wine, I’ve been trying out nonalcoholic drinks. Little Saints isn’t sugary or fruity and has functional benefits derived from organic reishi mushroom and botanical terpenes (aromatics).
4. Erborian CC Cream
$46
This product is literal magic. It goes on like a lotion but magically creates a filter-like finish that doesn’t cake like most foundations. Over the past month of using it, I’ve also seen an improvement in my skin tone!
5. A New Day Slim Fit Ribbed High Neck Tank
$8 on sale for $5.60
Multiple friends of mine agree: this is the best tank around. It comes in every color imaginable and is only $8—currently on sale for $5.60. I have one in black, two in white, one in red, and one in navy. The ribbing, lightweight fabric, and cut make a perfect fit that’s easy to tuck in.
6. Abercrombie YPB Activewear
$25 – $100 | All styles are currently 20% off!
I’ve been wearing this skirt with this top at least once a week. I also have this dress and love it. The gingham print dress is now in my cart!
7. Gap x DÔEN Eyelet Midi Dress
$158
This dress is as summery as it gets. I plan to wear it into the fall with an oversized sweater and leather sandals. It does run big in my experience—size down!
8. Ambition Monster by Jennifer Romolini
$22
I read this memoir at a time when I was examining my relationship with ambition. Looking back at what drove you toward a breaking point is like spelunking for clues hidden in plain sight. We each have our own stories to untangle, and I’ve enjoyed reading the perspectives of people who own their versions—this is one of them.
9. Tan-Luxe The Face Tanning Drops
$50
This product can be added to any face cream (or sunscreen) to give a sunkissed glow. It doesn’t streak and it is simple to use. Love it!
10. Electric Picks Ocean Drive Earrings
$70
I love the size and weight of these earrings. I have been wearing them with most of my casual summer looks. They’re a great way to make a simple pairing like a tank and shorts feel like an outfit.
11. Honey Smoked Salmon from Honey Smoked Fish Co.
$143 for 8 packages
A friend introduced me to this brand and it’s hands-down my favorite smoked salmon. Because it’s fully cooked in the fridge, I find it easier to get my Omega-3s first thing in the morning. I have a serving of salmon with eggs or avocado for breakfast and it keeps me full and energized until lunch. Buy directly through the brand online or find in a store near you!
