ARSENAL sent the Premier League title race to the final day with a 1-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Mikel Arteta’s men needed all three points to return to the top of the Premier League table ahead of Manchester City’s trip to Tottenham on Tuesday evening.

And Leandro Trossard sealed victory with a close-range tap-in midway through the first half after Casemiro played Kai Havertz onside in the build-up.

It is Arsenal’s first league win at Old Trafford in front of fans in 18 years.

The result means Arsenal sit one point clear of Man City, although Pep Guardiola’s side have their game in hand against Tottenham in midweek.

Arsenal realistically need to beat Everton on the final day and hope Man City slip up against Spurs or West Ham.

A draw for Man City in either of their final two matches could see the title go down to goal difference – which Arsenal lead by three.
