We’ve seen our fair share of movie spoilers on the internet, from news outlets all the way up to actors (many of them, Marvel).
But before the days of instant internet spoilers, which can hit our feeds as soon as the credits start rolling on a movie’s opening day, some spoilers happened on late night TV, but were forgotten without the help of YouTube.
Luckily, some of those old clips have resurfaced, and we have a chance to bring them up again.
In a recent interview with CinemaBlend, the cast of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice was catching the outlet up on the sequel, when star Michael Keaton was asked about the time he majorly spoiled his film Batman on Late Night with David Letterman.
Keaton laughed, and made a promise about his upcoming Beetlejuice sequel, saying: “That’s totally like me. That’s so stupid. … Well I’m not gonna blow this, ’cause the ending’s unbelievable.”
Good to know he’s learned a bit from his mistake! Luckily, not everyone in the world saw that Late Night interview, as they would have today.
Check out the old school spoiler moment in the interview below, and watch Beetlejuice Beetlejuice when it’s released in theaters on September 6th.
