The iPhone 16 series offers a sleek design, but if you’re anything like me, you’ll probably want to put a case on your shiny new phone. Thankfully, you don’t have to do away with great design just because you put a case on your phone. Native Union’s latest collection of iPhone 16 cases offers both form and function, combining design-forward aesthetics with eco-friendly materials. Included in the collection are previous fan favorites like the (Re)Classic Case and the (Re)Clear Case, but the company has also added the new Active Case to its lineup for this generation.

Three smartphone cases in blue, yellow, and beige are displayed on a beige surface next to a textured brown object and a piece of stone.

Active Case

The new Active Case is built for those who need that extra bit of protection. It’s built with a new extra durable material that’s semi-wrapped in a sustainable faux leather. It’s designed to be rugged, yet still offer a minimalist look. It comes in four colors – Sandstone, Black, Lemon, and Slate Green – and a cutout for the iPhone 16’s camera control is also included.

Accompanying the Active Case is the new Active Wallet Stand. The wallet is built to house four cards and doubles as a phone stand you can use to prop up your device hands-free while, for example, watching a video. It attaches to the back of your device using MagSafe, making it easy to attach, detach, or swivel into the stand position when needed.

The Active Case itself is available for $49.99, while the Active Wallet Stand comes in at $39.99.

The updated (Re)Classic Case for the iPhone 16 retains its signature textured back and eco-friendly recycled material. For this iteration, Native Union has introduced a new material to enhance the case’s durability and sustainability.

(Re)Classic Sling

Like the Active Case, the (Re)Classic Case supports MagSafe, along with a series of Native Union accessories. For example, there’s the $39.99 (Re)Classic Sling, which attaches to the case and allows users to carry their phone around their neck or secure it around their wrist to prevent drops and allow for easy access.

The (Re)Classic Case is available for $59.99 and comes in Black, Kraft, Slate Green, and Navy.

Last but not least is the (Re)Clear Case, which is perfect for those who want to preserve their phone’s design as much as possible while still protecting its exterior. The (Re)Clear Case, built from 100% recycled PCTG and TPU, is completely clear except for the MagSafe housing on the back.

The (Re)Clear Case is priced at $39.99.
