The ongoing crisis within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has sparked reactions from various stakeholders, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s camp and FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.

In a recent prophecy, Primate Elijah Ayodele of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church has predicted that the opposition party faces imminent doom by August 2024. In a video shared on social media, the cleric warned that the PDP was headed towards oblivion and urged the party to take corrective measures to prevent its demise.

“The PDP, as a party, get ready. They want to destroy the party,” Ayodele said. “By August, they will destroy the PDP. All these Atiku and co. will mess things up. A lot has to be done. They have to put a lot of things in order so that they can get it right.”

The party’s crisis intensified after a national working committee meeting, where Atiku’s camp anticipated disciplinary action against Wike.
