What is Sabrina Carpenter’s “The Short n’ Sweet Tour”

“The Short n’ Sweet Tour” kicked off on September 23rd in Columbus, Ohio. A theatrical set, a plethora of costume changes, and characteristically playful bits from the performer have confirmed the show as one of the hottest tickets of the year. In lieu of her notorious “Nonsense” outros, which featured different ad lib verses dedicated to each city on her previous tour, Carpenter pretended like the audio was glitching as she was lowered under the stage for a costume change during the first show in Columbus, marking an end to the tradition.

However, with the use of an oversized dial, Carpenter will be selecting a cover song to perform on each stop. She will cycle through four songs, which so far have included ABBA’s “Mamma Mia,” Shania Twain’s “That Don’t Impress Me Much,” and Sixpence None the Richer’s “Kiss Me.”

The pop star will play arenas across the US and Canada over the coming weeks, including concerts at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto; Madison Square Garden in New York; TD Garden in Boston; Wells Fargo Center in Boston; Centre Bell in Montreal; Bridgestone Arena in Nashville; and State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

November will feature concerts in the midwest and along the west coast, including at Moody Center in Austin; American Airlines Center in Dallas; Bell Arena in Denver; Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle; Chase Center in San Francisco; Footprint Center in Phoenix; and Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

“The Short n’ Sweet Tour” follows Carpenter’s run of shows opening for Taylor Swift on “The Eras Tour” in 2023 and early 2024.
