The National have announced a new live album: Rome is out December 13 via 4AD. Below, preview the full-length with newly released live versions of “I Need My Girl,” “Lemonworld,” “The Geese of Beverly Road,” and “Lit Up.”

The National captured Rome (without overdubs) at their Monday, June 3, 2024, show at the Italian capital’s Cavea at Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone. The album was mixed by Peter Katis.

The National were in tour in, in Italy and beyond, in support of their twin 2023 studio albums, First Two Pages of Frankenstein and Laugh Track. They’re currently on the road with the War on Drugs for the Zen Diagram Tour.
