Actor and musician Tim McGraw is set to star in an untitled bull riding drama series for Netflix. The announcement came during Netflix’s Upfront presentation on Wednesday.

The series will be written and created by Brandon Camp, who will also executive producer. Camp is set to serve as co-showrunner alongside Taylor Elmore.

Set in the fierce, competitive world of bull riding, the series follows a megastar champion (Tim McGraw) facing a life-or-death crossroads when confronted by the arrival of a fearless young rider whose very existence challenges his ways and unearths secrets that force him to reckon with his past.

The series will hail from Skydance Television and Down Home. Tim McGraw, Tim Staples, Brian Kaplan and Joel Bergvall for Down Home, as well as David Ellison, and Dana Goldberg and Matt Thunell are executive producers.
