It was a carnival of sorts as the burial of the 81-year-old Christian woman availed the people the opportunity to display their rich cultural heritage as represented in their food, mode of dressing, and Abia State government, politicians, top business executives, and top celebrities were all present.
The octogenarian was lowered to the mother earth after a funeral service organised by Master Vessel Ministry (MVN) at Amaeke Primary School Umuahia.
It was however a day of weeping and crying for her beloved grandson, Chukwueze who could not hold his tears as her lovely grandmum is no more.
The pastor during his sermon urged the mourners to take a cue from the exemplary life of the late Catherine Ihunwa Onyegbule who was known for building peace and extending a shoulder of love in her community and beyond.
