Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, made a surprise appearance at the National Caucus meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja on Wednesday.

The meeting is being held in preparation for the National Executive Committee meeting on Thursday, where a permanent National Chairman will be selected.

Despite being Atiku Abubakar’s opponent for the party’s presidential ticket in the 2023 election, Wike is present at the National Caucus meeting.

The meeting, which is taking place at the Bauchi Governors’ lodge behind the ECOWAS secretariat in Asokoro, is also attended by other key stakeholders. CONTINUE READING
