Seven-time winner Ronnie O’Sullivan gained automatic qualification for the Crucible tournament despite heavily criticising the competition.

What is the World Snooker Championship 2024 prize money?

The prize money will be unchanged from Luca Brecel’s winnings in 2023 – although the Belgian will only collect £20k having lost in the first round.

There will also be bonus funds to be won during the main stage of the tournament.
