Kyren Wilson 15-10 Jak Jones

Jak Jones has had plenty of chances in this frame already.

Once again, with plenty of reds out in the open he misses a pot and gift wraps a chance for his opponent.

With the form Kyren Wilson has been in, there are only so many times you can do this before he is going to make you pay.

Currently Wilson leads the frame 43-35.

Jones takes another long pot on from the baulk cushion but on this occasion he rattles it and spreads the remaining reds out.

Wilson pots into the middle but is left with a tricky shot on the black at the baulk cushion.

The Englishman misses the pot but the cue ball is tight to the cushion and he has really left nothing on for Jones.

As it stands, Jones leads 26-5 in the frame.

Wilson’s attempted safety the second time around hits the black and leaves a stray red as a potential pot.

Jones cuts a red into the middle and amasses a break of 13 before he misses the black on its spot.

He seems to have got lucky as he has left nothing on for Wilson at all.

Kyren Wilson plays a great safety though, leaving the cue ball at the top of the table behind the missed black.

Business end of tournament looms

This is the moment we have been building to over the last few weeks.

It is the final session of the World Snooker Championship.

We will see whether Kyren Wilson can go on to get the frame required for victory or Jak Jones make an unlikely comeback to be crowned champion.

Fairytale required for final victory

If Jak Jones was to go on and win the World Snooker Championship, it would be one of the greatest comebacks this tournament has ever seen.

Heading into the final session, he requires 8 frames to reach the finishing line, while not allowing his opponent to win more than 2.

It is all about having some downtime now, getting on the practice tables, and making sure he is firing on all cylinders for that evening session.
