Wyndham Rewards Business is offering company owners an additional way to earn points on employee travel, including the opportunity to gift status to three workers.

In their latest attempt to bring in new travelers, Wyndham Rewards is launching a business side of their rewards program.

Called Wyndham Rewards Business, the new “generous loyalty program” offers businesses the opportunity to directly earn points for room, group, and event spending.

Program Acts Similar to Personal Rewards Program on Bigger Scale

Under the new program, companies earn one point per dollar spent on “business-qualified stays,” which are booked through Wyndham’s direct channels (the website, app, call centers, or direct with the property) when providing their corporate ID. Hotels booked through third-party websites do not qualify.

In turn, businesses have multiple ways to use their points. Like the consumer program, free nights start at 7,500 points, or can be used to discount hotel stays with points and cash. Points can also be transferred to employees, given to charity, or redeemed for gift cards and merchandise.

One of the unique perks about the program is the ability to gift employees status for the rewards year. Wyndham Rewards Business allows companies to give three workers a one-year Wyndham Rewards Gold membership, which granting them 10% more points on qualifying stays, preferred room choice, and late checkout where available.

Not all businesses may qualify to join the new program. In order to join Wyndham Rewards Business, companies must be “incorporated or otherwise organized, registered and licensed” to do business in the U.S. The company must also have a website and valid address, a U.S.-based phone number, and must meet minimum spending requirements with Wyndham. The Business terms and conditions do not outline how much a company must spend, but rather state that it will be determined by Wyndham.

For those who can join, Wyndham Rewards Business is offering a bonus for new members. Companies can earn 7,500 bonus points by joining the program and completing one business-qualified stay by June 30, 2024. Full information about the program can be found on Wyndham’s website.
